Supsindex behavioral assessment engine
You’ve probably heard the stat before: 60–70% of startup outcomes are decided not by the product, the market, or the funding, but by the soft power inside the founding team. That’s exactly what the General Entrepreneurial Behavior test (GEB) was built to decode. While our FPA test maps what you know, the GEB goes a layer deeper – it maps how you operate, how you make decisions, and what behavioral patterns will quietly shape your venture’s future.
Think of it as a flight recorder for your entrepreneurial brain. And the best part? It doesn’t just hand you a label. It gives you the raw material for a practical, personal improvement plan.
What the General Entrepreneurial Behavior test Actually Measures
The General Entrepreneurial Behavior test is a 75-question assessment, built around 15 core behavioral categories – from adaptability and risk management to ethical decision-making and team dynamics. Every one of these categories has been reviewed and validated by our global network of faculty members, ensuring that what we measure is genuinely tied to startup survival and growth.
But here’s where it gets different.
You won’t find straightforward multiple-choice questions with neat right-or-wrong answers. Instead, every scenario drops you into a realistic, high-pressure startup moment. For each situation, you’ll select the most effective and the least effective course of action. That’s a Situational Judgment Test (SJT) approach – the same methodology used to evaluate decision-makers in the world’s most demanding professions.
And because we’ve deliberately shuffled the subcategory questions throughout the test – rather than grouping them in neat little blocks – there’s no way to game a logical pattern. You simply react. That’s the point.
How Your Score Comes Together
Every choice you make feeds into an engine that calculates two parallel views of you as a founder:
- Positive Traits (the Strength Engine): We measure traits like Resilience, Calculated Risk-Taking, Communication, Curiosity, and more – painting a clear picture of where your behavioral power truly shines.
- Negative Biases (the Risk Engine): We also identify tendencies toward things like Micromanagement, Fixed Mindset, or Autocratic Management – the kind of blind spots that, left unchecked, can silently sink a great startup.
The scoring logic is transparent. For each question, you can earn up to 3 points based on how closely your “most/least” selections align with expert-validated benchmarks. Your total raw score across all 75 questions is then converted into the GEB Index Score – a number from 0 to 1,000.
That score places you into one of four performance tiers:
- Q4 (Aspirant) – building foundational awareness
- Q3 (Architect) – solid, structured decision-making
- Q2 (Visionary) – strong strategic behavior
- Q1 (Legendary) – top-tier entrepreneurial operating system
Reaching Q1 doesn’t just feel good; it means you’ve demonstrated a level of behavioral mastery that puts you in the top 25% of all founders we’ve assessed. That’s where certifications, badges, and leaderboard recognition kick in.
What Your Report Will Look Like

After completing the General Entrepreneurial Behavior test, you won’t just see a single number. Your personalized report breaks everything down into digestible, actionable layers:
- An overall index score and quartile placement.
- Category-by-category performance, highlighting exactly which behavioral domains are firing on all cylinders and which need your attention.
- Subcategory insights that let you zoom into specific thinking patterns.
- A visual trait map and a bias radar – so you can literally see the shape of your founder profile.
From there, you can build a focused improvement plan. Maybe you’ll work on delegation. Maybe you’ll practice pausing before high-stakes decisions. The report becomes your coach.
Beyond the Test: Badges & Leaderboards
The General Entrepreneurial Behavior test isn’t just a one-time mirror. It’s also your entry ticket into Supsindex’s living recognition system.
- Perform among the Top 10 in a 90-day season, and you’ll earn the Season Victor (GEB) badge – proof of current behavioral excellence.
- Crack the All-Time Top 20, and you permanently wear the Apex Operator badge, signaling enduring elite decision-making ability.
- And if you manage Q1 across all three core tests (FPA, EEA, and GEB), you join The Supsindex 1% – the ultimate completeness badge.
Your GEB scores also feed directly into our public Leaderboard, where investors and accelerators can discover founders who don’t just talk a good game, but behave like the real deal.
“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t – you’re right.” – Henry Ford
Your knowledge might open doors, but your mindset will either walk through them or hold you back. The GEB is not a verdict; it’s a map. A map that shows you exactly where your internal operating system is strong, where it needs a tune-up, and how to start rewiring for the journey ahead.
