We do not view Supsindex Leaderboard, not a popularity contest, nor a static hall of trophies, as in essence iIt is a living credibility system designed to reflect current, contextual, and verified founder excellence. Supsindex Leaderboard operates as a time-aware, context-sensitive ranking system—continuously updating to reflect how founders grow, reassess, and remain aligned with real entrepreneurial demands, or even shape new standards!

Supsindex exists to measure founder soft power, a set of capabilities that are inherently relative. A score becomes meaningful only when placed in context—compared against founders operating under similar constraints: the same industry, the same stage, and often the same ecosystem. The Supsindex Leaderboard transforms individual assessment results into socially legible benchmarks, making excellence visible, interpretable, and trustworthy. Without a leaderboard:
- High capability remains invisible.
- Founders lack reference points for what top performers in entrepreneurial indices truly look like.
- Investors and institutions lose a critical comparative signal.

A founder who performed exceptionally three years ago may no longer reflect current readiness. Conversely, a founder who struggled early may grow into excellence through experience and learning. This is why the Supsindex Leaderboard is designed as a dynamic system, not a permanent ranking. By applying time-based score decay and encouraging reassessment, the Supsindex Leaderboard:
- Rewards current relevance, not past luck
- Encourages continuous growth and recalibration
- Prevents outdated credentials from distorting trust
- Aligns recognition with real-world entrepreneurial conditions
Time-Based Validity & Scoring Logic
To ensure the leaderboard reflects current entrepreneurial readiness, assessment scores are weighted using a time-based validity coefficient, which directly affects leaderboard ranking—particularly in the All-Time category.
Each certified assessment score is assigned an initial validity coefficient of 12 points at the time of certification.
Over a three-year validity window, this coefficient decays gradually:
- Every quarter (three months), the coefficient is reduced by 1 point
- If the founder retakes the assessment, the validity is refreshed
This mechanism ensures the leaderboard remains aligned with active capability, not outdated performance.
Supsindex Leaderboard Is Context-Aware!
Why rankings are never generic!
For each Supsindex index (FPA, GEB, EEA, etc.), separate leaderboards are generated. Where the startup development stage is relevant to an index, rankings are further contextualized so that founders are compared only against peers at the same venture stage (Pre-Seed, Seed, Early, Growth).

“How do I perform compared to others playing the same game as me?”
How Founders Qualify for the Leaderboard
Certification-Based Qualification
Founders who achieve Q1 (Top 25%) in any Supsindex assessment earn an official Supsindex certificate. Certificate holders become eligible for leaderboard inclusion for that specific index.
Performance-Based Qualification
Supsindex identifies those who demonstrate exceptional comparative performance. These founders can qualify for leaderboard inclusion by ranking within the Top 5% of participants for a given assessment.

A season on Supsindex is defined as a rolling 90-day evaluation window, updated continuously. At any point in time, the Seasonal Leaderboard displays founders whose most recent certified assessments place them among the highest performers within the last three months. This design ensures that:
- The leaderboard reflects who is strong now, not who performed well years ago
- Founders are rewarded for recent reassessment and active capability, not static credentials
- Rapid learners and improving founders can enter and rise quickly through re-evaluation
All-Time
Founders “Hall of Fame’
It represents the historical upper bound of founder capability measured on Supsindex. The Hall of Fame serves three critical purposes:
- Sets realistic excellence benchmarks
It defines what top-tier founder capability actually looks like in practice, based on real data — not myth, hype, or narrative bias.
- Creates aspirational visibility
Founders can see that others have reached this level, making excellence concrete and attainable, not abstract.
- Anchors ecosystem standards
Investors, institutions, and policymakers gain a stable reference point for what high founder capability means over time, not just in short-term cycles.

Leaderboard members gain elevated interaction rights within SupsHub, Supsindex’s community platform. While all users may post and comment, only leaderboard members are granted privileged reply status, signaling higher trust and authority within discussions.

To ensure relevance, fairness, and alignment with evolving entrepreneurial realities, the Supsindex Leaderboard operates under an annual governance review. Each year on January 1 rules, criteria, and qualification logic may be reviewed and updated.
