Product Hunt is now the latest public stage for Supsindex, bringing structured Founder Readiness, founder assessment, and the Entrepreneurial Passport to a global community of founders, makers, investors, and technology professionals.
Supsindex Launches on Product Hunt: Measuring the Founder Behind the Startup
Supsindex is officially live on Product Hunt.
On September 17, 2026, the Supsindex Product Hunt launch brings a question we have been working on for the past 18 months to one of the world’s most active communities of founders, makers, investors and technology professionals:
If startups measure almost everything, why is the founder still so difficult to measure?
Markets are evaluated. Products are tested. Revenue, retention, traction and unit economics are tracked. Investors build increasingly sophisticated frameworks for assessing opportunities.
Yet when attention turns to the person responsible for building, leading and adapting the company, evaluation can still depend heavily on impressions.
A founder may be described as ambitious, experienced, charismatic, resilient or simply “strong.” These observations can be useful, but they do not necessarily provide structured evidence about how that founder thinks, behaves, makes decisions or responds to the ecosystem around them.
Supsindex was created to explore a different approach.
Bringing Founder Readiness to Product Hunt

The Product Hunt launch introduces Supsindex with a simple message:
Stop asking investors to trust you. Give them a reason to.
Supsindex evaluates the person behind the startup through structured founder assessments designed to examine entrepreneurial knowledge, cognitive capability, behavioral patterns, mindset, strengths, blind spots and ecosystem awareness.
The platform currently combines three complementary assessment layers — FPA, GEB and EEA — with more than 200 indicators to create a broader picture of Founder Readiness.
The purpose is not to predict with certainty whether someone will become a successful entrepreneur.
It is also not to reduce founders to a personality type or a single score.
The goal is to provide founders and the people working with them with more structured evidence about the human capabilities behind the venture.
Three Perspectives on the Founder Behind the Venture
Founder Readiness is multidimensional. That is why Supsindex does not rely on one assessment alone.
FPA: Knowledge and Cognitive Power
FPA examines entrepreneurial knowledge alongside the cognitive capabilities involved in applying that knowledge.
Understanding startup terminology is not the same as recognizing the right decision when information is incomplete, priorities conflict or circumstances change.
FPA is designed to help identify the difference between what a founder believes they understand and what their responses indicate across different layers of entrepreneurial awareness and cognition.
GEB: Mindset, Traits and Behavioral Patterns
Founders rarely operate under ideal conditions.
They make decisions with incomplete information, negotiate trade-offs, respond to setbacks, influence teams and manage pressure while the consequences of their decisions are still unfolding.
GEB focuses on the behavioral side of entrepreneurship, examining patterns associated with entrepreneurial mindset, traits, judgment and behavior.
Rather than asking only what someone says they would do, the assessment is designed to explore the patterns that may emerge when different priorities compete.
EEA: Ecosystem Fit and Awareness
A founder does not operate in isolation.
The same business idea can encounter completely different conditions depending on its country, industry and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Funding structures, regulation, talent availability, market maturity, institutional support and industry dynamics all influence what a founder needs to understand.
EEA examines this relationship between the founder and the environment in which they are attempting to build.
Together, FPA, GEB and EEA provide three different perspectives on the person behind the startup.
From Assessment to an Entrepreneurial Passport
The output of this broader assessment process contributes to what Supsindex calls the Entrepreneurial Passport.
The idea behind the Entrepreneurial Passport is straightforward: founder capability should be able to move beyond self-description.
A CV can show previous experience.
LinkedIn can show professional history.
A pitch deck can explain the business.
Traction can demonstrate what the company has achieved so far.
The Entrepreneurial Passport is designed to add another layer: structured information about the founder who is making the decisions behind that company.
It gives founders a data-backed view of their readiness, including areas of strength and areas that may require further development.
For investors, accelerators, incubators and other startup ecosystem participants, this creates the possibility of adding founder-level evidence to processes that have traditionally relied heavily on interviews, references and intuition.
Why Product Hunt?
Product Hunt has become one of the most recognizable global communities for discovering and discussing new technology products.
But for Supsindex, this launch is about more than visibility.
Product Hunt brings together many of the groups directly involved in the Founder Readiness question: people building companies, investing in them, mentoring founders, developing startup tools and studying how entrepreneurship works.
That makes the launch an opportunity to open the conversation more widely.
Supsindex founder Shahriar Johari explained in the Product Hunt launch discussion that the original question behind the platform emerged after years of building companies and working with other founders.
Frameworks already existed for evaluating markets, products, business models, traction and investment opportunities.
The founder remained different.
Could the person behind the company also be understood through structured measurement?
That question eventually became Supsindex.
Over the following 18 months, the team built an assessment infrastructure around Founder Readiness, combining multiple dimensions rather than attempting to define entrepreneurial potential through a single characteristic or personality profile.
The Launch Is Also an Invitation to Challenge the Model
Launching on Product Hunt is not intended to signal that the Founder Readiness problem has been completely solved.
Quite the opposite.
Entrepreneurship changes across industries, countries, company stages and economic conditions. Any serious attempt to measure founder capability therefore has to continue evolving with new research, data and real-world participation.
That is one reason community feedback matters.
Founders may see dimensions that assessments overlook.
Investors may identify signals they already use informally during due diligence.
Accelerators and incubators may recognize patterns from supporting hundreds of companies.
Researchers may challenge assumptions or propose better ways to measure particular capabilities.
The Product Hunt launch puts these perspectives in the same conversation.
One of the central questions Supsindex is asking the community is therefore not simply whether they like the product.
It is:
How do you currently assess the founder behind a startup, and what do you think is still missing?
A Final Opportunity to Join the Pioneering Program
The Product Hunt launch also arrives during the final days of the Supsindex Pioneering Program.
Following its final extension, applications remain open until September 20, 2026.
During this window, participants can receive 100% free access to the complete FPA, GEB and EEA assessment suite, complete the assessments, receive personalized reports and become part of the Supsindex Pioneer cohort.
The Pioneering Program also plays an important role in the continuing development and calibration of the assessment system. Participants gain structured insight into their own Founder Readiness while contributing confidential assessment data that can strengthen the evidence base behind future versions of the platform.
Today, the Conversation Moves to Product Hunt
The Supsindex Product Hunt launch is another step toward a larger objective: making the human side of entrepreneurship more measurable without pretending that human capability can be reduced to a simple label.
Products matter.
Markets matter.
Traction matters.
Business models matter.
But eventually, someone has to make the decisions behind all of them.
That person deserves better tools for understanding their own readiness—and the startup ecosystem deserves better evidence for understanding the people behind the ventures it supports.
Supsindex is now live on Product Hunt.
