Republic of Ireland Joins Supsindex EEA: Expanding Contextual Founder Assessment

The EEA assessment in Ireland brings country-specific ecosystem knowledge into founder readiness evaluation, combining locally tailored questions with anchor item equating, periodic expert review, and contextual benchmarking.
Supsindex has officially expanded its Ecosystem Environmental Awareness (EEA) assessment to the Republic of Ireland, responding to growing community demand and marking another step toward a globally accessible, locally contextualized founder assessment system.
Ireland’s entrepreneurial landscape provides a strong foundation for this expansion. According to the Central Statistics Office, the country recorded 410,205 active enterprises in 2024, reflecting a 2.2% increase from the previous year. Meanwhile, Enterprise Ireland supported 198 startups and invested €32.9 million in Irish startups during 2025, highlighting the country’s active innovation and business development environment.
Yet entrepreneurial readiness cannot be measured through universal business knowledge alone. Founders operate within distinct regulatory systems, funding environments, institutional structures, and cultural expectations. A strategy that succeeds in one country may face entirely different constraints in another.
How the EEA Assessment in Ireland Works
This is why Supsindex developed EEA as a Contextual Intelligence Engine, designed to evaluate how well founders understand the specific environment in which they operate. Its country- and industry-specific questions assess local ecosystem awareness, while Anchor Item Equating supports fairer comparisons across different environments. Time-to-live (TTL) review cycles help keep questions relevant as regulations and market conditions evolve, and contextual benchmarking considers the founder’s ecosystem, industry, and startup stage.
With the Republic of Ireland now included, Supsindex continues its country-by-country expansion, working toward a founder assessment framework that combines scientific consistency with meaningful local relevance.
